Hi, I’m Darcy Mohamed.

I survived and escaped human trafficking. My story of courage, determination, perseverance and compassion in the face of still insurmountable obstacles has inspired many. I didn’t do it alone though.

Even while alone in my prison, I had community to guide and help me through it all. They weren’t present but the memory of those I’ve known throughout my lifetime sat beside me in my despair. They kept me alive when it was easier to die.

As I try to recover, my memories of community and lessons learned are making it easier along with the actual community who now surrounds and supports me. I am forever grateful to them all.

I believe that community can help us overcome any obstacles we face. The larger and more diverse, the better. My community is humanity itself. Come join us and

Let’s Rise Together!
