Thanks, but…
I have lived in Fremont as a bedridden adult. I have learned and know the system better than most social workers. When I needed to have a neuropsychologist examine me two years ago to prove my mental state and health conditions, I called everyone to try to get a ride a month or more in advance. The only option available was a prepaid taxi that was hundreds. Then the doctor bill, prescriptions, etc. I simply can’t afford this. Those in charge built the system this way and allowed so many to abuse it and people. We simply die and it is written down as our fault or natural causes.
The people of this town can call EMS for anything. Police officers and EMS were desperate to get me to trust and call 911 for anything once they understood that I was trafficked. After this, I can’t trust anyone anymore. They want it this way. I had to cross someone very powerful to make so many people stand down for the greater good. I pray that the powerful are punished in this life and the next for it. They were never going to allow me to live.
Ponca Express is an amazing service with very limited drivers, resources and availability. It is difficult for them to schedule the longer trips to outlying areas. 6 months or more in advance is advisable, just know that you’ll be taking that service away from many in Omaha for your one free trip. This is all that is available besides taxi service.
In either case, if I require medical assistance while within Dodge County, I will be sent to Methodist Hospital against my will. I still fear having anyone see me or know anything because they would place me in emergency protective custody and transport me to Methodist. I am in a no win situation. They are fully aware. They just don’t care to see, hear, know or have a heart. I wish that they could and would see the light. I prefer being friends than hating each other.
If they don’t change and I die, I would like my younger sister, Cassandra Phillips of Ontario, Canada to inherit my estate in its entirety. She was born 26 years after me. She would be 25 or 26 years old now. I didn’t know her much at all but she is much like me. We have the same dimple unusually high up on our cheek. Jim died when she was young. She also has ME/CFS. She loves nature, rural life and her family. I know that they struggle. She didn’t know Jim as I did. I wanted to keep that for her. She was caught in the middle so much so young like me. She’s a good girl and deserves the best in this life like I did. I would like to see her have it.
I have tried my best but sometimes your best isn’t always good enough. I have made so many incredibly angry and I honestly don’t know how or why I am still treated this way. Exceptions are made for others frequently. I’m just not worthy enough in their eyes. I can’t control anyone and wouldn’t want to. It’s an enormous part of my religion. Free will. They have the free will to deny me my rights in every conceivable way including taking my life. I can’t and wouldn’t stop them. They have free will. I won’t be here to have any say in any decisions that arise from their free will but it is their right to choose. I don’t deny them that right. I never have and never will.
