Extremism in Nebraska and Solutions
If I had to characterize the Nebraska government, it would be one of cruelty and corruption. They have put their citizens in danger of extremism and terrorism just to survive. The justification for their actions is ironically because they’re protecting us from extremism and terrorism.
I saw and felt the effects of the horrific attacks on September 11, 2001. I listened to the FBI with skepticism but knew that they had gotten much right. I tried to protect everyone from the extremism that can be born out of these attacks on humanity as our nation asked of us. I am proud of my Muslim American community for doing likewise and on an even larger scale than this disabled accountant from Detroit.
I believe that Nebraska and America should take a few lessons from the FBI on extremism. We would see just how easy it can be to become a victim and then perpetrator of it. Terrorists use threats, intimidation, blackmail and more to get what they desire. They will get what they want unless we fight back.
The proof is in the pudding, as they say. I believe that what happened to me and my fellow Nebraskans speaks volumes. Human trafficking is an integral part of terrorism and extremism. It should be fought with the same gravity as those who attacked our nation so viciously almost 25 years ago.
The solutions are the same as they have always been. Secrets should never be kept for they are what blackmailers look for to convert you. It is the same for a homeless person as it is for the President. No one is immune.
If people feel like they are voiceless and powerless, they will turn to extremism out of frustration. Those who are subdued by more control being placed on them or out of morality become even more vulnerable to extremism, suicide, drug addiction, etc. The end result is the same, the total destruction of the population by the government meant to protect them.
It is just as disgusting, vile and inconceivable as the Holocaust; the apartheid of South Africa; the occupation of Palestine; genocide upon genocide; Bin Laden; MBS and now our own, Donald J Trump.
We, as humanity must safeguard ourselves against these global and local threats. We must lead with honesty, transparency and accountability. We must learn from each other and help one another for the good of all.
When we are good to the least of us, we are good to all and keep our people safe in the process. Anything less is inhumane and belongs in the hellfire with Hitler, Bin Laden and Trump. May their hearts be purified so that they might join us in heaven.
God bless us and keep us all of our days so that we are good and just to each other and therefore ourselves. Amen.
