We Rise Together!

This is a personal website with a twist. The twist is a community coalition and cooperative in the making for Fremont, Nebraska, USA.

My name is Darcy Mohamed but most people around here simply call me Miss Darcy. I was born in Detroit but have an acquired Georgian accent. I have ME/CFS, a neuroimmune disease that I acquired in infancy. It disabled me in 2008 at 33 years old when I was finally diagnosed. I had the very severe form and was bedridden when I was trafficked to Fremont in 2021 with my mother who had Alzheimer’s. While she didn’t survive, I managed to escape in 2024. I have been fighting for justice, assistance and my freedom ever since.

While my life story is one marked by tragedies most can’t imagine enduring, I am blessed and grateful for so much. This website is my thanks to community for helping me through it all. We don’t always get along but we’re family. We’re in this together. We shall rise together.

Community in Fremont, Nebraska

This is a community coalition and cooperative to bring community together. It was an idea born out of so many wonderful concepts that I tried to navigate without success before, during and after my escape. Most websites gave useless; outdated; irrelevant; or no information. I found that even professionals trying to assist me were using many of the same scattered resources as I had with similar results.

I wanted an up-to-date place to find out everything I needed to know about where I was an accidental citizen. Unfortunately this didn’t exist in full. Even with cooperation from all involved, problems will arise. To circumvent the cooperation of all, community steps in to address and police the situation. Community information isn’t always accurate but it’s fast and personal. We can help each other from one place and in various ways.

Please feel free to check out the project and comment. I’d love to hear from you. You can always email me at Miss.Darcy@drsy.org instead of leaving a comment. I know that we can accomplish great things, together.
