My Ride and My Pride

Ready for the next chapter.

I’m ready for the next chapter of my life. The flashbacks and anxiety have been intense because of the move. I have had so many wonderful people who have supported me and helped me through it. I am eternally grateful to them. They have reminded me that I’m a survivor.

I have a second chance at life. I don’t want to squander it. I will continue to talk to others about our trafficking. I want survivors to know that there is hope and a better future waiting for them. It is an incredibly difficult and painful journey that will never leave us but we are stronger for it.

We survived! Nothing else matters because

Every life matters, especially yours.

God bless Nebraska and especially Her people.

I am proud of my unique American identity. I am a proud survivor of human trafficking and a fighter for the abused and vulnerable of all kinds. No human should ever know the horrors of enslavement nor abuse of any kind. We MUST end the cycle of abuse. There is no greater gift we can give humanity.
