On The Anniversary of My 2nd Escape Attempt From Human Trafficking

On the Anniversary of My 2nd Escape Attempt From Human Trafficking
Arch Mohamed

Today is the second anniversary of my second escape attempt from human trafficking. It’s a day of mixed emotions. I am frustrated that the PTSD symptoms and amnesia remain but I am far from the terrified, confused woman who couldn’t understand what was happening nor why while recording her life being threatened two years ago.

I am frustrated that my disease gets the best of me but I am far from being bedbound in incredible pain, suffering and misery. I have gotten better by leaps and bounds thanks to cannabis, Miss Amanda, law enforcement, people throughout the world and especially those right here in Fremont. They have been kind, helpful, understanding, considerate and compassionate. They continue to support me through the worst while applauding every milestone.

I continue to be hurt, angry and frustrated that the FBI haven’t made any arrests but I am beyond grateful and blessed that they, Fremont PD, Dodge County Sheriffs, NSP, this community and others watch over me still. I unfortunately remember and know much about the trafficking ring and their associates. I understand just how dangerous, widespread and powerful they are as well as the obstacles law enforcement faces. They must be stopped with no doubt as to their guilt. This takes time, patience, perseverance and great courage with what limited resources they have available.

Law enforcement has more than proven themselves to me while politicians continue to make law enforcement’s lives and duties more difficult and dangerous. When politicians endanger the lives of our service members needlessly, they endanger the safety and security of our beloved nation itself. This is unforgivable, unconscionable, unacceptable, shameful, deplorable, vile and disgusting. Semper Fidelis!

While my life has improved tremendously over the past two years, American lives have only gotten worse. It is beyond heartbreaking. I pray that the light within those brave, selfless people who have been there for me continues to grow and ushers in an era of peace, trust, understanding and prosperity that we all so richly deserve. They have shown us the way and know that

Every life matters, especially yours.

God bless Nebraska and especially Her people.

I am proud of my unique American identity. I am a proud survivor of human trafficking and a fighter for the abused and vulnerable of all kinds. No human should ever know the horrors of enslavement nor abuse of any kind. We MUST end the cycle of abuse. There is no greater gift we can give humanity.
